INNOVATIONS AND COMMUNITY SERVICE

(1)   Chairman, materials development committee of the Uganda Insurance Institute of Uganda from 2017 -2019.

(2)   Documenting Innovative efforts in teaching at MUBS (longitudinal). In December 2016 and 2017 - Professor Ntayi started on a volunteer project to document innovative ways of making students to learn in a non-reading culture – He is utilizing the experience of Prof. Michael Frese and Prof. J.C Munene’s heuristics and the community of practice concept to examine this learning process.

(3)   Social entrepreneurial efforts: In 2016, Prof. Ntayi pioneered the establishment and registration of Kampala Olive Tree SACCO with over 400 members aimed at improving the quality of life of underprivileged residents of wandegeya, in Kampala District – Kawempe division. He has been the substantive chair of the SACCO since 2016 up to September, 2019.

(4)   Social entrepreneurial efforts: In 2016, Prof. Ntayi pioneered the establishment and registration of Foundation for the Next Generation Learning Communities an NGO Empowering the underprivileged communities of women, children, youth etc.; environmental protection etc.).

(5)   Since 2007 to date- Career counsellor and Resilience developer for Seeta Hill College.

(6)   Joseph has passion for orphans. He has educated 32 orphans, 9 of which have completed University studies.

(7)   He is in the process of establishing a community hospital in Kyetume, a nursing school, Vocational training Centre for orphans and people with disabilities.

(8)   Professor Dr. Ntayi trains religious church ministers and pastors in self-management, personal finance, entrepreneurship, management, time management, strategic management, marketing and spirituality.

(9)   Since 2012 to date, prof. Ntayi has been organizing annual Christian conventions which bring together over 1,100 participants.

(10)     Trains and offers counseling to the youth in Career Planning and Management

(11)      Provides – Marriage counseling.
