SCHOLARLY, RESEARCH AND DISTINGUISHED AWARDS

(1)  In 2018, Professor Ntayi Received a Reviewer Certificate from Wiley publishing house in recognition of his services offered to the International Journal of Auditing.

(2)  In 2016, Prof. Ntayi was awarded the best paper award during the 7th International Public Procurement Conference (IPPC) that took place in Bali, Indonesia, in August, 2016.

(3) In 2016, Professor Ntayi Received an award from Routledge publishing house in recognition of service as Outstanding Reviewer of the Journal of Small Business & Entrepreneurship.

(4)  In 2010, Professor Dr. Ntayi received a meritorious award from MUBS, in recognition for his outstanding contribution to the ICT and research effort at Makerere University Business School.

(5)   He was awarded the Second-best paper award during the 4th International Public Procurement Conference (IPPC) that took place in Soeul, Korea, in August, 2010.

(6)  He received the best paper award during the IAABD 10th Anniversary International Conference held at Speke Resort Munyonyo, Kampala, Uganda, May 19-23, 2009 - hosted by Makerere University Business

(7)  In 2005, Professor Dr. Ntayi received a research grant of Euros 10,000 from the Netherlands Programme for the Institutional Strengthening of Post-secondary Education and Training Capacity (NPT/UGA/040) to undertake research on the – ICT and procurement practices in Uganda’s SME’s.

(8)   In 2008, Professor Ntayi was awarded a research grant by ICBE-RF to research on “Contract and Conflict in the supply chain. He successfully completed this project in 2009

(9)   Professor Dr. Ntayi was awarded ICBE - 2012 research grant for entrepreneurship capital project in Uganda.

(10) In 2012, Professor Dr. Ntayi, received a meritorious award from MUBS, in recognition for his outstanding contribution to the ICT and Academic research effort at Makerere University    Business School,

(11)    In 2013, Dr. Ntayi received the “Emerald Literati Network 2013 Awards for Excellence”.

(12)   In 2014, Dr. Joseph M. Ntayi, ICBE received funding from ICBE- Trust Africa to publish the book "Challenges and Opportunities of the business environment in Uganda":  "a situational analysis". The book was published in November, 2014.

(13)     In 2014, Joseph Received 4 Research Grants from CRS-MasterCard Foundation to develop Microfinance SACCO cases in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and West Africa.
